Our new Car.

Well, it's not new, we switched cars with Daddy.  Here is my sweet girl standing in the truck, because that's where she has to stay while Momma buckles in Baby G.  Otherwise she runs around in the parking lot and that won't work for me.

Daddy wasn't happy about losing his truck.  But I think the picture below might show you the reason he lost it.

Yes. Those are three car seats. Three.

Our list of "Cons" outweighed the "Pros" for going back on the Foster Care list, at least for our current season.  But we were reminded of Proverbs 3:27-28 that says "Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.  Do not say to your neighbor, 'Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow' when you now have it with you." We had 100 legitimate reasons to "wait".  Wait until the holidays are over, wait until we get back from India, wait for the kids to get older.  Yes, there are always better times than others but right now our family has the passion, power, and ability to act.  In the end, waiting for the right time just became an excuse.

So we stepped out in Faith and put our names back on two weeks ago.  Since then we've received six calls.  We said yes to five babies and none of them, none, ended up with us.

Ryan and I actually feel at peace, knowing that God is totally in control of our home and any kids who are meant to stay with us.  He worked out a bad incident in Baby G's life to end up becoming a good thing for our family.

So who knows what plans he has next. . . Today we got a phone call for a little guy, and we're waiting again in faith knowing that God's plans are better than ours...even if that means we will have 3 kids under the age of 2! Oh.My.Goodness.
